Another leg of our Registration Project, is our Parenting Programme, whereby parents are taught basic parenting skills and techniques – from relationship building, to proper nutrition at home, to discipline and basic medical care.  The parenting curriculum consists of four parenting magazines named, Umama Nomntana, and the presentation thereof is divided into four workshops which is presented at the crèche’s parent meetings.

The second part of our program focuses on conducting home visits to young mommies with babies and screening high-risk mommies. We provide attachment support to assist the mom in building a secure relationship with her baby. Mommies are then also encouraged to join our Ubomi support groups to ensure they receive additional support, love, and care.
